Östra Arådalen is a mountain pasture settlement in the valley of Arådalen, Jämtland, with a very wide view on the Oviksfjäll. The mountain pasture consists of several cottages, some of which are still used today in a traditional way. After the mountain pasture was restored with the help of the Länsmuseum (regional museum "Jamtli"), it was awarded the international architecture award Europa Nostra in 1991. |
